I had been chasing shadows for a couple of weeks.I couldn't figure out what was preventing me from printing support tickets and purchase orders out of MBC Software's Track-IT application. The errors were always the same:
I installed the app on another PC and the same thing happened. I called technical support and they did not have a resolution. As a last ditch effort I decided to copy MFC71U.DLL from another PC (Windows 7 32-bit) over to my Windows 7 64-bit machine. Since it was a 64-bit PC I placed the file in two locations:
- C:\Windows\System32
- C:\Windows\SysWOW64
Relaunched the app and WHAM-O! Everything is working fine now.
